The last two holdouts among the 11 Cape Cod Baseball League alumni selected in the first round of the 2013 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft have now agreed to bonus contracts, MLB sources said Thursday.

No. 6 overall pick Colin Moran (Bourne, 2011-12) has accepted the Florida Marlins’ offer for the MLB recommended value, which is $3,5216,500, while No. 32 selection Aaron Judge (Brewster, 2012) has agreed to a deal with the New York Yankees for $1.8 million, which is just above slot value of $1,677,100.

The teams have not confirmed the deals, but they are expected to make the official announcements today after the players pass physicals.

Both players came to terms just one day before the deadline for all teams to sign their picks, which is today (Friday, July 12) at 5 p.m. ET.

Moran, a 6-foot-4, 205-pound, left-handed hitting third baseman, helped lead North Carolina to the College World Series this spring. He batted .345 for the Tar Heels with 13 home runs and 91 RBIs. In 65 games at Bourne over two seasons, he batted .304, collecting 13 doubles, eight home runs and 29 RBIs. He was regarded as one of the top college hitters in the draft.

Sources say Moran, who is the nephew of former major leaguer B.J. Surhoff, should begin his professional career at low Class A Greensboro.

Judge led his Fresno State squad in nearly every offensive category this spring with a .369 average, 45 runs, 76 hits, 36 RBIs, a .461 on-base percentage and a .655 slugging percentage. He showed significant raw power, slamming 12 home runs in 206 at-bats for the Bulldogs. At Brewster last season, he batted .270 with five homers, 27 hits and 16 RBIs. The 6-foot-7, 250-pound outfielder also stole six bases.

The Yankees already had signed their two other first-round picks – Notre Dame third baseman Eric Jagielo (Harwich, 2012) and Ian Clarkson, a California high school southpaw pitcher.
