“Never lose sight of why you play the game. Enjoy being on the field and never let the struggles of the game steal the passion you feel for it. Respect the game, play hard.”

During the course of a game I have to play with the dirt. You’ll see me with my head down for most of the game, guess I never got over playing in the dirt as a kid.”

I went to the College World Series in 2012 as a fan and I could only imagine what it felt like on the field because it was such a great experience in the stands. As a player, my last high school at-bat, I went deep to center and although we didn’t go out on top, I finished my high school career on good terms.”

1. Receive my degree
