Long-time Scout Norm Morris Donates Treasure to CCBL Museum

Hyannis, MA --Norm Morris, long time scout with Milwaukee and a resident of West Yarmouth, was most generous in donating a treasure to the CCBL Hall of Fame and Museum this summer.

He and his family met Curator Dan Dunn and President Judy Walden Scarafile at the museum for the presentation of the gift - a framed poster and newspaper story on the League’s 100th anniversary game played in 1985.

It was an “old timers game” that commemorated the 100- year anniversary of the start of the Cape League while giving about 30 former players and managers a chance to “return” to the field and play a fun game. The game was held July 13, 1985 at Eldredge Park in Orleans, prior to a Cape League game.

The gift will hang in the Museum located at 397 Main Street, Hyannis.
