7/2 Cape Cod Baseball League Wrap Up
Cotuit (9-8-1): 2 at Falmouth (7-10-1): 2
After a three hour and twenty one minute, twelve inning game, the Kettleers and Commodores could not decide a winner on Monday night. Cotuit got the scoring started in the third with a sacrifice fly from Zachary Biermann. Falmouth responded to tie it in the sixth with an RBI single from Steven Williams, then took the lead 2-1 in the seventh on a Davis Sims RBI single. Cotuit answered in the eighth with a solo home run from Jonathan Robertson. The extra three innings were scoreless, resulting in a tie.

Bourne was up 3-0 heading into the bottom of the sixth, until Wareham was able to put together two runs to make it 3-2. Top of seven, the Braves scored two runs to go up 5-2. A double from Spencer Horwitz scored one and a groundout from Chase Murray was able to bring Jared Triolo in to score. The Gatemen went on the score just one in the bottom of the seventh to make the score 5-3. Bourne was able to hold on to this league to finish off the Gatemen.
