Orleans’ Spencer Steer homered in the first inning, followed up by a second inning home run from Pat DeMarco. Steer added another run in the third with a sacrifice fly. Thanks to Firebirds hurlers Mitchell Senger and Aaron Ochsenbein, the 3-0 lead stuck around until the eighth inning. Brewster scored two runs with Hunter Bishop at bat when Conor Grammes scored on a wild pitch, and grounding out to score Cameron Eden. Senger left the game and did not allow a hit. Ochsenbein managed to no-hit the Whitecaps.

It was all Commodores in Cotuit Sunday evening. Falmouth put up eight runs on eleven hits that included a two-run third and a four-run fourth. Commodores Kyle Stowers and Austin Langworthy homered in the game, Stowers a two-run shot in the third, Langworthy a solo home run in the sixth. Cotuit only pieced together three hits for a run in the ninth inning on a fielder’s choice.

Harwich was leading the ball game 6-2 after six innings, including two runs in the fifth and two more in the sixth. Things were looking bad for the Gatemen when they did not put up any runs in the seventh or eighth, and still trailed 6-2. Wareham refused to roll over, and put up four runs in the bottom of the ninth, highlighted by Luke Roskam’s three-run double to tie it up. After allowing just a hit to the Mariners in the top of the tenth, Isaac Collins hit a single to lead off the inning. Collins moved to third base after a sacrifice bunt, intentional walk, followed by a walk to load the bases. He scored on a wild pitch to Jakob Goldfarb to walk it off.

Hyannis took a 4-0 lead into the sixth inning which included a two-run single from Trevor Hauver in the fourth. Bourne fired back with a run in the sixth on an Anthony Prato RBI single. They closed the gap to a run when they scored two in the seventh thanks to a wild pitch and a Spencer Brickhouse single that scored Tyler Fitzgerald. The Hawks were able to hang on to the one-run lead for the remainder of the contest to take the 4-3 victory on Sunday night.

There were plenty of long balls in this game with five between the two clubs. Y-D received a huge two-run home run in the top of the first from three hitter Andrew Daschbach. Nick Quintana lead off the second inning with a solo home run to make it 3-0. Anglers’ Blake Sabol answered with his own lead off solo home run in the second. Y-D scored another in the fourth, and Chatham again answered with two of their own on a Colin Simpson homer to make it 4-3. A Christian Koss solo home run in the fifth gave the Sox a 5-3 lead, handing the ball to reliever Trenton Denholm who shut things down.
