Breaux receives the Silva Sportsmanship Award!

Joshua Breaux (C/P) of the Falmouth Commodores received the Silva Sportsmanship Award!  He has been a huge asset to both the team and the league!  His time on the Cape also has been noted in his stats with 6 HR, 23 RBI and a batting average of .269! 

The Silva Sportsmanship Award is selected annually by the umpiring staff since 1973, and is presented to the player who shows true class on and off the field and is a well-respected athlete and individual within the league.
 

Bechina takes home the Robello 10th Player Award!

Marty Bechina (3B/OF) of the Falmouth Commodores is this years Manny Robello 10th Player Award recipient!  He has a great summer on Cape Cod with 8HR, 28 RBI and a batting average of .264.  Not only is he an asset to the Commodores, he was also named our Week 2 Player of the Week!

Manny Robello 10th Player Award is given to a Cape Cod Baseball League player who has shown dedication both on and off the field and gives his all to the game.

 

The Commodores take home the Commissioners Cup!

Congratulations to the Falmouth Commodores for winning the Commissioners Cup for exemplary and professionalism on and off the field. This was a unanimous decision by the commissioners of the league.

GM Layton wins the John Wylde General Manager of the Year Award!

Congratulations to GM Ben Layton of the Harwich Mariners for winning the John Wylde General Manager of the Year Award. The league GM's vote for this award.
