2021 – Finally, Cape League Baseball has come back to our 10 fields!

After a tremendous long time away, due to the COVID cancellation of 2020, we are very much looking forward to having games again for you, our fans, to enjoy again this summer!  Our full 40 game, yet condensed, 2021 CCBL Schedule (starting on June 20th) is sure to have exciting matchups throughout the season, all the while keeping in mind that we will need to keep Safety Considerations in place for the remainder of the year.

Our Executive Committee, and its sub-committees and groups, have worked tirelessly compiling and updating our Procedures and Policies to ensure that we all remain as safe as possible, all the while trying to return to some semblance of normalcy at our ballparks.  While I know that it will be different than we want it to be for a while longer, I ask that that we please all remain careful and vigilant for our families and fellow fans by following any current information provided by our teams, local, state, and federal health officials, so that we can then focus on having a great season for you, our players, coaches, and all involved with bringing this great game back to our communities.  We certainly missed terribly not being able to go to the field each day!

We all appreciate the continuing hard work still being done to ensure that we are having baseball this summer, and look forward to see some ‘socially distanced’ ball in 2021.  There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and we’re getting closer every day!

All the best,

Eric Zmuda, Commissioner
Cape Cod Baseball League
