Cape Cod Baseball League All Star Game at Whitehouse Field Notice

      On July 28, 2012, the Cape Cod Baseball League All Star Game will take place at Whitehouse Field, Oak Street, Harwich.  Events begin at 2:00 p.m. with the baseball game beginning at 6:00 p.m.  Over 6,000 people are expected for the baseball game.  Due to the amount of people that will be traveling to this residential area, parking restrictions will be in place with traffic detours also scheduled depending on traffic.  Beginning at 5:00 p.m. police officers will be present to assist with traffic.

     If traffic in the area becomes extremely heavy, Oak Street will be limited to northbound traffic only from Route 39 to Harwood Ave.

     Parking will be available at the Harwich Community Center, Town Hall, Brooks Park and Harwich High School.  Parking will also be available along some side roads and in non posted areas of Oak Street.

     It should be noted that at the conclusion of the game those leaving the parking lot directly in front of Harwich High School, parked in the south side parking lot of the Harwich Community Center, parked in Brook Park, or exiting from Old Colony Road or Park Street will only be allowed to exit south on Oak Street.  Those parked in the north side parking lot of the Harwich Community Center and those parked in the parking lot behind the Harwich High School will only be allowed to exit north on Oak Street.  Also at the conclusion of the game vehicles traveling south on Oak Street between Queen Anne Road and Harwood Ave will be directed west on Harwood Ave to Route 124.

     Volunteers from the Cape Cod Baseball League will be on hand to assist with parking.
