Critical Issues facing the Cape League and Teams

As we get closer to opening day, I'm reminded of some of the critical issues facing the Cape League's franchises.

First, is the critical issue of Housing.  Without our host families, our league simply would not survive.  It's a great family experience housing a player for the summer.  If you're interested, please go to the individual franchise website and sign up for an experience you and your family will never forget.

Second, is Donations as a Sponsor.  It costs each franchise over $200,000 a year to field a team.  The franchise helps the local economy and is part of your community so please help them.

Third, is Volunteers, the lifeblood of the CCBL.  It takes about 30 volunteers to run a franchise.  So if you love baseball then volunteer with your local franchise.

Before you know it the 2016 season will begin with "PLAY BALL".

    Sincerely,
