Commodores win Western Division Championship Bowl!

The Falmouth Commodores won the Western Division Championship Bowl and was awarded on August 5th at their game against the Wareham Gatement.  Falmouth has had 24 W, 19 L and a total of 49 points to pull ahead of the Cotuit Kettleers to claim first place!

McCauley & Feltner win the Russ Ford Outstanding Relief Pitcher Award!

It was a tie this year for the Russ Ford Oustanding Relief Pitcher Award!  Both guys had great seasons here on the Cape and it is a well deserved tie!  McCauley (Michigan State University) played for the Y-D Red Sox and was named to our East All-Star Team!  Feltner (Ohio State University) played for the Bourne Braves and was named to our West All-Star Team!

The Russ Ford Outstanding Relief Pitcher Award is given each year to a pitcher who thrives under the pressure of pitching in the late innings of games and exhibits the ability to shut down opposing hitters when a game is on the line.

Dodson is award the Thurman Munson Batting Champion!

Tanner Dodson (P/OF) of the Wareham Gatemen who attends the U of California Berkeley won the Thurman Munson Batting Champion Award!  While on the Cape, he was named to the West All-Star Team, had an ERA of 3.69 with 1 W and 2 L and 1HR, 14 RBI and a batting average of .350. 

Nicholson takes home the Curran Manager of the Year Award!

Kelly Nicholson of the Orleans Firebirds has won the Curran Manager of the Year Award!  Kelly has been a huge part of the Firebirds organization and is a multiple time recipient of this award as well! His Orleans Firebirds have also had a great season claiming #1 in the East Division!

The Curran Manager of the Year Award is voted on by all of the managers!
