Cotuit (6-4) at Yarmouth-Dennis (4-4-2)

Cotuit was held to one run on one hit in last night’s loss to Yarmouth-Dennis, with a final score of 6-1. The Red Sox couldn’t take advantage of the effort their staff put in until the end of the game. They tied it up in the fourth with one run of their own. They didn’t score another run until the seventh and eighth where they scored three runs and two runs respectively. Yarmouth collected eleven hits in their win. Cotuit travels to Brewster tonight at 5:00 PM and will throw Luke Chevalier (1-0). Yarmouth-Dennis will host Harwich and send Jansen Elliot (1-0) to start for the Red Sox at 5:00 PM.

Wareham (7-3) at Bourne (6-4)

It was an exciting game all the way to the end at Doran Park on Thursday night. The teams were tied at 3-3 when Bourne was able to score a run in the bottom of the eighth thanks to a spencer Horwitz single, scoring Spencer Brickhouse to take the lead and finish the Gatemen 4-3. Wareham will travel East to take on the Orleans Firebirds at 7:00 PM. Bourne will travel to Chatham and pitch Austin Pope for a 7:00 PM start.

Falmouth (2-7) at Harwich (6-4)

Falmouth continues their woes, scoring just one run on four hits and committing four errors on the defensive side. The offensive struggle last night was due to an incredible start by the Mariners’ Jake Agnos, going six strong and racking up ten strikeouts. The Harwich had fourteen as a unit, and offensively they were able to put up ten runs, taking advantage of errors by the Commodores. Falmouth will go to Mckeon Park and pitch Matthew Canterino (1-0) to take on the Harbor Hawks at 6:00 PM. Harwich will give the nod to Xzavion Curry to take on Yarmouth-Dennis on the road at 5:00 PM.

The fog rolled into Chatham last night, causing the game to last only five innings, and ending in a tie 3-3. Chatham got on the board early with three runs in the third, featuring a home run, single, and an error by the left fielder, all resulting in runs. Hyannis was able to scored one in the fourth and two in the fifth to tie the game up just in time before the game was called. Hyannis hosts Falmouth and will give the ball to Travis Marr (0-1) for a 6:00 PM start. Chatham will host Bourne, pitching Jackson Wark (0-1) at 7:00 PM.

Orleans put together a three-run fourth inning, collecting three hits. That was all Orleans needed, winning the contest 3-0. Orleans gave up just two hits and struck out eleven Whitecaps, shutting them out to seal this one. Brewster gives Zach Linginfelter the ball at home to start against Cotuit at 5:00 PM. Orleans will stay home and give Andrew Abbott the nod against Wareham for a 7:00 PM start.
