Cotuit (6-5) at Brewster (3-6-1)

Cotuit scored four in the third inning. Brewster scrapped together three runs, one in the second, third, and fourth. Down one in the bottom of the ninth, Brewster was able to score one to tie on an error, then a sacrifice fly to walk it off to win 5-4. It was a close game, but Brewster was able to out-hit Cotuit thirteen to six. Cotuit will play at home on Saturday, pitching Bryce Jarvis for a 5:00 PM start. Brewster travels to Wareham and will start Zach Thompson for a 6:30 PM first pitch.

The Red Sox were able to put up an incredible eight-run fourth inning to put this contest out of reach, winning the game 12-1 in eight innings. The lone run for the Mariners came in the third inning. Y-D collected eleven hits to score their twelve runs, including RBI for eight Red Sox. Saturday, Harwich will take on Hyannis at McKeon Park at 6:00 PM, and give the nod to Kyle Brnovich. Yarmouth-Dennis will start Tommy Henry at 6:00 PM in Bourne to take on the Braves.

Falmouth (2-8) at Hyannis (5-4-1)

Hyannis struck first with one in the fourth inning, and Falmouth answered with one to tie it up in the eighth inning. Nine innings was not enough for this ball game, but it only took just one extra inning to decide the winner. Hyannis walked off with a double from Davis Wendzel which scored Matthew Barefoot, who began the inning with a single. The Hawks win Friday night 2-1. Falmouth will host Orleans and start Bryce Jarvis at 5:00 PM. Hyannis will host Harwich and hand the ball to Jordan Fowler at 6:00 PM.

Wareham (7-4) at Orleans (4-6)

A big seventh and eighth inning for Orleans helped the Firebirds fly past the Gatemen Friday night 10-3. Down 3-1 in the seventh, Wareham tied the game up with a two-run inning. Orleans responded with five of their own runs in the bottom of the second, and then they tacked two more on in the eighth for insurance. Wareham will host Brewster at 6:30 PM, and will give the nod to Easton Lucas (0-1). Orleans will travel to Cotuit for a 5:00 PM start, starting Erik Miller against the Kettleers.

Bourne (6-5) at Chatham (6-3-2)

Bourne jumped on Chatham early with six runs in the first two frames of the game. However, Chatham was able to slow the Braves’ bats down, scoring two in the fourth and fifth inning, and three in the ninth to come back and win 8-6. The second inning featured a three-run blast from Bourne’s Spencer Horwitz. Bourne was able to out-hit Chatham 11-9, but they were not able to take advantage. Bourne will host the Y-D Red Sox at 6:00 PM today, probable starter Casey Legumina will take the hill. Chatham will travel to Falmouth for a 6:00 PM start, handing the ball to Jack Conlon (1-0).
