Welcome Fans!
It is had to believe that we are in our third week of the season and all that has happened to date.

We started off with the First Pitch Brunch, sponsored by the 99 Restaurant, and all the coaches talked about the upcoming season and some of the players coming in.  We also announced the names of the inductees into the Cape Cod Baseball League Hall of Fame in November.  This will be held at the Wequassett Resort in Harwich.  Then came the Hyannis field dedication as the “Judy Walden Scarafile” field.  Certainly, an honor well deserved.  Also, Wareham and Y-D played the first game ever at the beautiful Boston College High School Field In Boston.

Next up is the complete Fenway Workout on Thursday June 27th.  All our players will get to workout in front of all 30 Major League Team Scouts and Directors.  We are all excited about our All-Star Game being held at the picturesque Eldridge Park in Orleans on Sunday July 21st.  Please be sure to get there early and pull up your lawn chair and enjoy the home run derby and then a great game of baseball.

Now that many of the regular players will be arriving the races will get tighter and your brand of baseball will be the best.  Before you know it the playoffs will start on Friday August 2nd.

Also, please support your local franchises with your generous donations or volunteer during the remainder of the season.  The experience will be so rewarding.

As always,
Chuck Sturtevant
