Jacob Palisch (Harwich/Stanford): Palisch threw the first complete game shut in over two years in the CCBL. In his 99 pitch effort (73 strikes), he struck out ten Wareham Gatemen, while walking none in the first 7 inning game of a double header. His ERA for the season is down to 1.06. He has struck out 23 batters in 17 innings pitched against just 2 walks and 12 hits.

Jordan Westburg (Hyannis/Mississippi State): Westburg didn't arrive on the Cape until after Independence Day, but he has made the most of his limited time in the league. He recorded multiple hits in all four games he played last week. July 5th against Cotuit he clubbed a pair of home runs in his Cape League debut. The very next day he went 5-6 in a double header against Bourne with two doubles and another home run. He finished the week with a 3-6 performance against Wareham for a weekly batting average of 0.625(10-16).
