Welcome to our Volunteers, Fans, and Supporters,
Who would have thought we would be in isolation and social distancing at this time.  The Cape Cod Baseball League and each of the ten franchises are first and foremost hoping all our volunteers, host families, and fans are staying healthy and safe.  If we just follow all the recommendations of the CDC we will overcome this pandemic.

Well, even with social distancing, we have been able to conduct our officer, general manager, and executive committee meetings as scheduled.  I thank the techies for developing ZOOM allowing us to do this.  We, as a group, are working hard to salvage, if not the whole season,  a partial season so that we can showcase the best college baseball players in the country in front of the fans and MLB Scouts.
Remember, the entire College Baseball Season has been cancelled so these players will be excited to perform their talents on all the fields.  Let’s hope this can happen.  Please monitor our website for the latest information for the 2020 season.

One exciting event that has happened is the start of the Cape League Podcast with Orleans Coach, Kelly Nicholson, as their first guest.  We are hoping to have Mark Hamilton, who played for Falmouth in 2004 and 2005 on an upcoming podcast.  He went on to have a great major league baseball career.   Mark recently became a medical doctor and is currently fighting the Coronavirus in a New York City hospital.  This will be quite a story.

So please, again, stay healthy and safe and we hope to see you at one of the ten fields sometime this summer and hear the words ‘PLAY BALL”.
