After nearly 400 votes were cast, the winning team in the East Division for the Battle of the Franchises is the Orleans Firebirds.
From the first vote until voting closed at midnight on Monday night, Firebirds fans rallied around their team and had them leading the entire time. Orleans finished with 38.7% of the total votes. Chatham, coming in second place, finished with 20.4% of the votes, followed by Y-D at 15.4%, Harwich at 13.3% and Brewster at 12.2%.
Orleans will move on to the Championship Round to face the winning team from the West Division beginning on November 17th.
