Cape League Baseball Back on NESN![]() Photo: Kyle Prudhomme Article By: CCBL Public Relations Office For the third consecutive season a package of Cape Cod Baseball League games will be broadcast on New England Sports Network (NESN). The 2022 package has expanded to feature four regular season games, in addition to the Cape League All-Star Game. In the first NESN televised game Falmouth will host Bourne on June 30th at 7pm, a matchup between the President’s Trophy recipients in 2019 and 2021 respectively. The second NESN game will take place July 17th at 7pm, the same night the 2022 MLB Draft begins and could feature players just hours away from being drafted. CCBL Hall of Fame Manager Harvey Shapiro and the Wareham Gatemen will travel to Bourne on July 21st for the third NESN game. Shapiro spent the past 18 seasons as the Bourne Braves manager before returning to Wareham this off-season. The 2022 Cape League All-Star Game will be broadcast on July 24th at 9pm. The showcase event being held in Wareham on July 23rd will feature the biggest names from across all ten teams. The final NESN broadcast will feature Brewster and Orleans on July 31st in an East Division matchup just three days before the playoffs begin.
