After winning two championships in the past five years, the defending Cape League Champion Harwich Mariners will look to continue their winning ways in 2012.

Manager Steve Englert (Boston College) returns for his 15th season at the helm of a 2012 team that features three returning players: Austin Wilson (Stanford), JaCoby Jones (LSU) and Grant Gordon (Missouri State).

Sophomore pitcher Corey Littrell (Kentucky) was named to the College Baseball Hall of Fame Watch List and led the Wildcats in most pitching categories as their Friday night starter.  Aaron Nola (LSU) had a great spring, earning his spot in the Tigers starting rotation, and is the younger brother of 2010 & 2011 Mariner Austin Nola (LSU).

Nick Petree (Missouri State) comes off a stellar spring, where he broke the school record for scoreless innings pitched, was named to the College Hall of Fame Watch List and was named a semifinalist for the Dick Howser Award, given annually to the top collegiate player.

After spending last summer with Team USA, Stanford's Brian Ragira will anchor the Mariners’ outfield alongside Stanford teammate Wilson.
