Jeff Trundy Returns as Falmouth Commodores Field Manager

FALMOUTH, Mass. – Veteran Jeff Trundy will be return as field manager of the Falmouth Commodores afterall.

     The popular Trundy has served as manager of the Commodores for the past 14 seasons and coached Falmouth to the Cape Cod Baseball League championship series three times since 2004, when he was named Cape League Manager of the Year.

      A meeting of the Commodores’ board of directors last week resulted in the resignation of general manager Bob Clark, along with president Christine Clark, secretary Helen Kennedy, along with the reinstatement of Jeff Trundy as field manager.

     Former assistant GM Eric Zmuda will serve as acting GM until the official board elections take place in October.

    The board meeting last Wednesday was a result of the initial dismissal of Trundy as Falmouth manager by the GM Clark.

     In other league news, Bourne Assistant GM Dan Dunn has been named president of the Braves, replacing Tom Fink, who stepped down.

     In Orleans, Steve Garran has been named interim president, replacing Don LeSieur who has retired.
