Cape Cod, Mass. –

 

The rosters for the 2019 Cape Cod Baseball League All-Star Game and Home Run Hitting Contest were announced this weekend.  The League's annual event takes place Sunday, July 21 in Orleans.   Here’s what you need to know about this years CCBL All-Star festivities: 

 

ROSTERS:

 

Both the East and West division have 30-player rosters. Harwich leads all teams with ten players named to the East Division squad. Wareham is providing the most talent for the West Division with eight players. Every team will be represented by at least three players in the All-Star Game. The Home Run Hitting Contest will feature Oraj Anu (Cotuit), TJ Collett (Brewster), Hunter Goodman (Hyannis), Tyler Hardman (Brewster), Niko Kavadas (Harwich), and Barron Radcliffe (Falmouth).  

 

ASG SCHEDULE:

 

The event takes place Sunday, July 21st at Eldredge Park in Orleans, MA, home of the Orleans Firebirds.  The game, which starts at 6:05pm, will cap off a full day of All-Star festivities beginning at 2pm that includes autograph sessions, a silent auction, and the popular Home Run Contest at 5pm. 

 

VENDORS:


 

A Cape Cod Baseball League merchandise booth will be selling original Cape League gear, and a concession stand with classic ballpark food.  There will also be a collection of local vendors and community organizations showcasing the best that Cape Cod has to offer. 

 

 

RADIO/TELEVISION BROADCASTS:

 

The Cape League All-Star game will be nationally televised on Fox College Sports and available in over 50 million homes around the country.  It will also be broadcast locally on WCAI and the Cape and Islands Public Radio Stations (WCAI 90.1, WNAN 91.1 and WZAI 94.3, FM) serving Cape Cod, Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard and the South Coast.

 

TICKETS:

 

Tickets for the event are just $5.00 and can be purchased at all Cape League parks leading up to the All-Star Game. Tickets may also be bought at the gate on the 21st.
