Dodgers 6 - Rays 2 (Los Angeles Leads 2-1)
The Rays were coming off an impressive second game of the World Series when Walker Buehler (YD ‘14) took the mound for L.A. in game three. Bueller pitched remarkably well over six innings allowing one run on three hits. He also collected 10 strikeouts. His Dodgers were able to procure him six runs as their bats were on fire early scoring their first five runs in 4 innings. Max Muncy’s (Wareham ‘10) two-run single in the third proved, in the end, to be the game's winning run as Tampa Bay only managed two runs off the Dodgers pitching staff. For the Rays, Ryan Thompson (Hyannis ‘13) went an inning in relief putting L.A. hitters down in order and collecting a strikeout. Both teams reset for an important game four tonight. First pitch is at 8:08pm.
