Bryson Stott - Philadelphia Phillies, Wareham ‘18

Bryson Stott (Wareham ‘18) only had one hit on the night, but it was a massive one. With the Phillies leading 3-0 in the sixth inning, Stott delivered a grand slam to break the game open to 7-0.

The Phillies would go on to win 7-1 and sweep the Wild Card series, thanks in large part to Aaron Nola (Harwich ‘12) who threw seven scoreless innings.

In his second full year at the major league level, Stott finished with a .280/.329/.419 slashline, 15 HRs and 31 SBs.

Stott appeared in 12 games for the Wareham Gatemen during the 2018 summer, finishing with a .275 batting average and a .708 OPS.

For the second consecutive year, the Phillies will match up against their division rivals, the Atlanta Braves, in the NLDS.
