T-Mobile Player of the Week - Week Five Cole Mathis (College of Charleston) and Caleb Lomavita (California Berkeley) of the Cotuit Kettleers have both been awarded the T-Mobile hitters of the week for week five of the Cape Cod Baseball League season. Mathis collected nine hits in five games throughout this span and also pitched three shutout innings in Cotuit’s 5-0 run throughout the week. Offensively, he also tallied two home runs, 12 RBI, and eight runs scored. Lomavita posted three three-hit games in a four game span throughout the week, tallying 10 hits in total throughout the week. He also produced two home runs, 11 RBI, and two stolen bases. In the team’s 18-0 win against Wareham on July 13, Lomavita had three hits, one home run, two stolen bases, three RBI, and three runs scored.  |
