The Kettleers took a special trip Friday before their game against Hyannis, visiting the Cape Cod Baseball League’s Hall of Fame to take a look at the history of the league.
Despite threatening clouds and wind, the crowds turned out in droves for the Cape Cod Baseball League’s 2012 All-Star Game with a packed house of 3,812 fans at Whitehouse Field in Harwich.
Whitehouse Field, home of the defending champion and Cape League-leading Harwich Mariners, will be the center of the collegiate baseball world today (Saturday, July 28).
Now that the Cape League season has long since passed the midway mark, it’s time to reflect on what’s been an action-packed and possibly record-setting campaign.
The Cape Cod Baseball League All-Star Game Committee announced that Guy Morse of Centerville will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the CCBL All-Star Game.
Cape Cod Day at Fenway Park was a great success and it featured the Hood Home Run Hitting contest with 10 participants, one from each team Cape League team.
