Firebirds win Eastern Division Championship Bowl & President's Cup!
The Orleans Firebirds won the Eastern Division Championship Bowl and President's Cup on August 5th at their game against the Chatham Anglers. Orleans has had 29 W, 15 L and a total of 58 points to pull ahead of the Y-D Red Sox to claim first place!

Kris Bubic from the YD Red Sox was named the BFC Whitehouse Outstanding Pitcher as he was the most impressive across the league for his pitching. Bubic started 6 games for YD going 4 -1 with and ERA of 1.65. Bubic attends Stanford University and has had a great summer here on Cape Cod!

The Eastern Division Playoff teams will be Orleans, Yarmouth Dennis, Brewster, and Chatham. Orleans and Y-D have earned home field advantage for the first round. Who they play and seeding in the division is still to be determined.
In the Western Division; Falmouth has secured home field for the first round. Cotuit, and Bourne have made the playoffs and the fate of Hyannis and Wareham has yet to be determined.
The Cape League Playoffs will begin Saturday August 5th.
