Ryan Smyth is taking over as manager of the Wareham Gatemen in 2023, after six years as an assistant coach with the Brewster Whitecaps, helping lead them to two championships. One notable player to watch for on the Gatemen is Nick McLain. McLain had a slashline of .298/.391/.649 with eight home runs and 24 RBI this spring at Arizona State. Nick is the brother of Matt McLain who played for Wareham back in 2019. Orleans will run their youth clinics the following weeks this summer: July 10 - July 14, July 17 - July 21, and July 24 - July 28. Their youth clinics are for boys and girls ages 6 - 17.
