Bourne Braves defeat Hyannis Harbor Hawks (Bourne Wins the Series)

Bourne wasted no time getting numbers up on the board for game 3. Getting the first hit of the game fell onto none other than Jonathan Vastine, hitting a single. After Vastine was tagged out at second, Kendall Diggs and Bryce Eblin followed with hits. Derek Bender swooped in and drilled a 352-foot homerun for the Braves, sending all three of them home.

However the Harbor Hawks weren’t scared to punch back.

Zach Ehrhard led off for Hyannis, reaching base and coming around to score in the bottom of the first. Eric Snow helped in the fourth earning a run, but Bourne came back scoring two more over the Hawks.

In the bottom of the ninth, Elijah Hainline got the Harbor Hawks a home run to try and bring back the energy, but no matter how many times Hyannis seemed to score, Bourne seemed to double it.

The Braves got hot for Game 3 and refused to cool down. The final score was 12-4, making the Bourne Braves the West Division Champions.
